Horseback riding tours are one of the many activities found near our Los Pargos location, just a few kilometers south of Tamarindo. A skilled guide, who is adept at traversing the Costa Rican beaches and jungles as well as being an expert caregiver to the equine charges, will take you safely along beach and jungle trails and across the land in between. These horses are well cared for and their safety and health is of the utmost importance to the guides.

Safety Briefing
Before each tour, the guides will instruct you in safety measures and precautions to take while on the tour. With our tropical sun overhead, it is suggested that water and sunscreen be taken on the ride. A brief lesson for beginning horse riders is included.
The Beach Scenery
The tours will travel the sandy, white beaches and the highland areas near Tamarindo. Safety precautions are taken on the beach rides to ensure that other beach goers are not disturbed during the tour. The beach ride will offer views of palm trees and other exotic local greenery as well as the clear blue ocean water along the shore. An observant eye might catch the action of some of our local sealife and birds nearby!
The Highland Scenery
Exotic wildlife that includes brightly colored and loudly vocal birds are a familiar sight on the highland trails as are howler monkeys. The guides will point out those and other wildlife along the paths.
